LWRA Repeater Usage Drops For July, 1.5% Used
July 31, 2008
John KC4KLM has been keeping track of how much the repeater has been used since April 2nd, 2008 or for the last 121 days. Don't let your receiver blink, or you might miss hearing some one pleading for a contact.

121 days (2,904 hours) have passed so far since the repeater powered up at the new location.

For the month of July, the repeater logged 11.3 hours. That's 1.5% of the time this month the transmitter saw some action. Average daily use was 20 minutes.

Like last month the numbers are sustained above the 1% mark, only due to a small group of hams using the repeater daily in the evenings.

Total time logged since at the new location, just 50 hours even.

It seems clear that less than a 2% repeater usage will be the norm.

Logging has ceased as of July.
