Eye witness "Katie" while at Yoga class says she saw lightning strike the antenna and then smoke pouring out from the top of it.
Summer storms roll through the area taking out our Repeater system this time.
Three breakers were tripped, power supply damaged and the Repeater controller is blown. What is not known is the damage to other systems including the Repeater itself. With a direct lightning strike, to the antenna, things can't be good.
Early estimate on time to repairs would be over one month.
